Ian Lyne

The Head of Research Facilitation oversees the day-to-day running of the Research Facilitation team.  The team provides support for grant funding applications, as well as ensuring that funding opportunities and funder priorities are well communicated across the Division. The team also comprises a number of Project Support Coordinators, who provide administrative and project management support to specific large grant projects.  Ian is responsible for ensuring that the team’s procedures are in line with the University’s and with funders' requirements, and provides advice to the Humanities Research Committee and Faculties on possible approaches to increase research funding applications and awards.
