Leen Van Broeck is Honorary Research Associate at the Department of Classics of Royal Holloway University, University of London. She's a Roman historian with a growing interest in the depiction of classical antiquity (and other ancient cultures) in comics from around the world.She is co-editor of a forthcoming collection on Comics and Archaeology in the Palgrave Macmillan series Studies in Comics and Graphic Novels, together with Zena Kamash (Royal Holloway, University of London) and Katy Soar (University of Winchester).
