Partner Organisation:
All Saint's Primary School

The aim of this project is to work with Primary schools to develop electronic resources which will be of use to teachers preparing their pupils for the Primary Year 6 Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar test. The aim is to make learning to spell more interesting and more fun, while using it to foster an interest and enthusiasm for the study of the English language. The resource will build upon ongoing research into spelling, which was published as Does Spelling Matter? (OUP, 2013), and which continues to appear online at spellingtrouble.blogspot.co.uk. The planned resource will include podcasts, information sheets, downloadable worksheets and interactive quizzes, as well as supportive materials for teachers.
