Mother-of-four Muradi lives in rural Gloucestershire. On the surface she seems to be settling in well; her children speak perfect English, she teaches Arabic to students and is preparing for her teacher training. But scratch beneath the surface and it’s a constant struggle - the family were subjected to racist taunts and her son received death threats from local kids. Her daughter has a life-threatening heart condition. She turns to poetry to make sense of her experiences.
