This scene is one of the most violent between the three. Stephano stops Trinculo from hitting Caliban; in retaliation Trinculo bends back Stephano’s fingers, they get into a fist fight — and when they finally calm down Ariel steps in to pinch Trinculo’s bottom, starting the whole thing off again!
