Vehicles: a new opera for children

Martyn Harry (Faculty of Music) composed a new children’s opera, “Vehicles”, in creative collaboration with primary school children in Blackbird Leys, Banbury and Ellesmere Port and Nina Hajiyianni, the director of Action Transport Theatre. Each opera scene focused on a different vehicle, with children from King's Sutton Primary Academy in Banbury providing the accompaniment for one scene with a percussion ensemble made out of car parts from the BMW Factory in Cowley.
