As part of the work of the project, Elgar’s manuscript for The Dream of Gerontius has now been digitised, and is freely available on the digital platform of the National Institute for Newman Studies here:
The photography, undertaken by experts from the British Library, included special imaging which revealed Elgar’s original music beneath his pasted-over corrections, and which may be viewed here.
