Public Engagement with Research
Public and community engagement with research connects research with people, locally, nationally and globally. It strengthens relationships between researchers, communities, the public, and the University. Collaboration, sharing information, and inspiring new ideas benefit both research and society.
Engagement is integral to our work at Oxford University. Our research must extend beyond the academy, contributing to and improving society. Involving various stakeholders ensures research findings are applied practically, leading to positive societal outcomes.
The TORCH team, alongside the Impact team, is here to facilitate public engagement with research for Humanities researchers. If you are interested in collaboration and co-creation around your research, and would like support on planning and delivering projects, finding funding and more, contact us: torch@humanities.ox.ac.uk
