Rebecca Beasley is Professor of Modernist Studies at the University of Oxford, and Fellow and Tutor in English at The Queen’s College. Her most recent monograph is Russomania: Russian Culture and the Creation of British Modernism, 1881-1922 (Oxford University Press, 2020), and with Philip Ross Bullock she co-edited Russia in Britain, 1880-1940: From Melodrama to Modernism (Oxford University Press, 2013) and a special issue of the journal Translation and Literature, ‘Translating Russia, 1890-1935’ (2011).
